According to a recent ranking by Similarweb, the website traffic of the most popular generative AI chatbots continues to grow. OpenAI’s ChatGPT maintains its lead, while Google’s Gemini and X’s Grok climb the global ranks.

Regarding participation, Google leads with 19.6% of total traffic and then YouTube (6.88 %), Facebook (2.70 %), Instagram (1.56 %) and ChatGPT (1.40 %).
Chat bot OpenAI does not register a change from October, but confirms again its weight in the AI-driven digital ecosystem.
Gemini ranks second among AI platforms. He climbed four places to 26th in the rankings, consolidating his steady rise and expanding his presence in the world rankings.
For its part, Grok has expanded its platform to generate images and videos from audio. This feature allows users to animate photos, create avatars or bring their pets to life, among other things.

Of course, the news excited its owner Elon Musk, who asked his X subscribers to continue using the chatbot for free.

The report also highlights important failures. Perplexity falls 26 positions to #167, while Claude, another benchmark in the sector, falls 11 positions to #176. These negative changes contrast with the progress of other services and mark an adjustment in the positioning of these tools.
At the bottom of the rankings are Character AI, which climbed three spots to #174, and Microsoft Copilot, which climbed seven spots to #318, showing moderate growth in traffic and adoption.
