Remake The sands of time can markedly change the way Farah works. According to a leaked internal Ubisoft presentation, Pharah will no longer be a “vulnerable companion” that the player must constantly protect during combat.
Instead, the leak reveals that Pharah will be able to fight independently with her bow, perform combo attacks, and act as an active ally. This overhaul of combat and camera/companion dynamics will change one of the most criticized mechanics of the original (the constant risk of losing Pharah and failing missions because of it).
The rest of the remake will also have improvements: upgraded acrobatic moves, expanded time powers, revised enemies and bosses, and different ways to resolve combat.
