Pokémon Go is celebrating the Camino feature with a special event and a new NPC named Mateo. Players can also earn attractive rewards by completing time-limited themed investigations, so here’s everything you need to know about them.
Pokémon Go introduced players to Routes during the Adventures Abound season, but there were numerous issues that prevented players from enjoying themselves. Now, the season of Eternal Journeys goes even further by adding a new NPC named Mateo. Events along the route add these NPCs to give players more to do while exploring the route.
Additionally, the event also added a new Timed Research that players can complete alone or with a group, so here are all the Pokémon Timed Research tasks and rewards headed your way.

- 1 km of navigation – Meeting with Ulu
- Send a gift to a friend – 5x pineapple
- 2 km expedition – family meeting
- 5 km expedition – Beer meeting
- Send your friends 3 gifts – 1 aromatic stick
- 7 km expedition – Meeting the Heatherian Sneasel
Completion Rewards: 1500 XP, 1500 Stardust, meet Hisuian Sneasel
With this event, Shiny Hisuian Sneasel will debut in Pokémon Go., so keep that in mind. During the event, a Gisian variant of Sneazel can also hatch from a 7km egg.
Pokémon Go players must complete these tasks and claim all rewards before the event ends. December 8, 20:00 (local time).
