hey Amazon Games has officially released New World: Rise of the Loamlands, the first paid expansion for the open-world role-playing game. To celebrate the game’s second anniversary, New World: Rise of the Loamland is introduced mounts, progressions and raising the level cap to 65, new rare equipment, new weapons, transformed zone, new endgame expedition, soul rune ability and more.
In Rise of the Loamlands, the southeastern edge of Eternum, formerly known as the First Light, has fallen. Once a welcoming place for the newcomers of Eternum, these fields were ravaged by the fury of Artemis and her loam horde. No one knows for sure what became of the people and villages that once inhabited the area, and a deadly barrier prevented all but the bravest from trying to find out. This abundance of earthly powers has awakened the mighty Beastmasters, a new potential adversary to confront the people of Eternum, but with them also comes a blessing: the secret to taming and riding animals.
New content and features for New World: Rise of the Loamlands include:
- Frames – Players can summon and control horses, dire wolves and lions to travel faster through Eternum.
- Transformed district – Elysian Wilderness – a magical and mysterious landscape transformed by Artemis and the Loamland Horde with gorillas, mammoths and other beasts to contend with.
- The new weapon is the whip – A versatile new one-handed weapon with a shield. With a combination of hand-to-hand combat, arcane magic, and strong defenses, the wielder can increase the effectiveness of his party without giving up on offense.
- New progress – Players can increase character level to 65 and equipment count to 700 with new attributes that help improve builds. Crafting skills can be increased up to level 250 with new items to collect, upgrade and craft.
- The new expedition is the Savage Division – Open to players level 60 and above, explorers track the primal beast lords in search of new high-level rewards.
- New soul rune ability – Primal Fury – Players can unleash their inner beast and unleash light and heavy unarmed attacks on their enemies.
