This week An hour of attention it’s all about mushroom pokemon, making it the perfect opportunity to catch a the perfect Shroomish Art Pokémon Go.
Unlike last month’s Whopper, also known as the Aquatic Fish Pokemon, this category actually makes sense. This is a walking mushroom. To be honest, it’s not a very exciting Pokemon unless you’re from the one town in Hyrule that really loves mushrooms… But we’re not here to talk about a Legend of Zelda crossover game, we’re here to talk about Shroomish in Pokémon Go.

Shroomish 100% perfect IV stats in Pokémon Go
This week’s Spotlight Hour is a great opportunity to catch a Shroomish with perfect IV stats.
“Perfect” means two things in Pokémon Go, depending on how you plan to use a given Pokémon. First, there’s the maxed out, 100% IV version that comes on 15/15/15 if you’re looking for your 4* Pokédex, raids, and Master League. However, due to the way CP is calculated using three stats, a perfect IV Pokémon is usually just the best version of itself in Master League.
Of course, you can’t see a Pokemon’s IV without catching it first, but with a little research beforehand, you can quickly spot the perfect CP-only Shroomish.
If you’re level 30 (or higher), you’ll ideally be looking for the following CP for a perfect 15/15/15 Shroomish:
The wild CP value is the same as your trainer level until you reach level 30, and since most players are above that level now, we’ve kept these values for simplicity. However, these values will be different if your level is below 30.
Is Breloom good in PVP?
Breloom is respectable in the big leagues, but while great, it’s weak to too many types and has too low defense to make it to the top of the meta. In Ultraleague it’s either decent or downright awful depending on the matchup, but again the swarm of weaknesses means it’s more of a wildcard, but one that’s easy to beat.
If you want to run a Breloom in Go Battle League, you’re looking at the following moveset: Counter, Dynamic Strike, and Grass Node as a second charged move.
In the Big League, you can expect wins against teams like Registeel, Alolan Sandslash, Azumarill, Swampert, and Stunfisk, which sounds decent until you see the losses coming from Medicham, Lanturn, Alolan Ninetales, Lickitung, and Scrafty. These are ice, normal, and dark types that don’t immediately lose to counter users, oops.
As for the Ultra League, we have a similar situation – a higher attack, but the same sloppiness (mushrooms are not famous for their defensive qualities). This means you have defeated Registeel, Obstagoon, Swampert, Galarian Stunfisk and Tapu Fini; however, you lose to Charizard, Giratina, Walrain, Scruffy, and Cobalion.
This means that when it comes to Master League, Breloom is clearly toast.
Adventure season has arrived! You can also work on the Timed Investigation: Master Ball quest and participate in the Go Battle League. Be sure to participate in Shadow Raids, complete Routes, use Daily Adventure Incense for a chance to meet Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres. This incense can also give you encounters with other rare Pokémon in Pokémon Go.
Does Pokémon Go have a Shiny Shroomish?
yes Pokémon Go has a shiny Shroomish! Shiny Shroomish and Shiny Breloom, released back in June 2022 as part of the annual Go Fest event, joined the game with Shiny Unown B, Shiny Numel, Shiny Camerupt, Shiny Karrablast, Shiny Escavalier, Shiny Shelmet, Shiny Accelgor, Shiny Axew, Shiny Fracture and the brilliant Haxorus.
Spotlight Hours, unlike Community Days, do no have an increased shiny quotient, so if you’re looking for a shiny Shroomish, you’ll be doing so with the normal shiny rates in this game. This means that if you really want shiny Shroomish, you need to make the most of this hour!
What does shiny Shroomish look like?
As you can see below, the shiny Shroomish is a more autumnal version with a golden body and orange spots and legs. This change has persisted through evolution, with the shiny Breloom changing from green to burnt orange. These are some pretty cool glitter overlays that are perfect for Halloween this month!

Other tips for this hour of meditation
Aside from trying to catch the perfect Shiny Shroomish in Pokémon Go, there are a few other good reasons to take part in this week’s Attention Hour. The vast majority of players appearing for this Hour in the Spotlight will no doubt be doing so in order to receive the hourly special bonus:
- The best reason is of course double bonus XP evolution works for an hour. This gives you the opportunity to collect a lot of experience very quickly so that you can increase your level as a trainer. The best way to do this is to have two tags in your Pokémon Vault dedicated to that hour. The first is things you want to evolve and keep – usually strong Pokémon and Pokémon you need to evolve to upgrade your Pokédex – and things you want to evolve and transfer. This second box should contain all 12 candy Pokemon. Search string to quickly find everyone ranked below 3*: 0*,1*,2*&10,13,16,265,293,519&!shiny
- If you’re a beginner, this spotlight hour is the perfect time to collect enough Shroomish candies to fully evolve this Pokémon and register its evolution, Breloom, in your Pokédex.
- Due to Shroomish being a Grass Pokemon, catching a bunch during this Spotlight Hour will add progress to your respective Catch Bonus Medal.
