With the fall season upon us, various anime studios are releasing previews of their next projects over the next few months or even into 2024. One of them is Studio Trigger, which after the huge success of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, is now working on the following series: Mesha’s dungeon.
After announcing fig teasersanimated shorts and some other promotional images, Tragons and dungeons has finally released the first trailer of this highly anticipated series. As expected, its artistic quality and audio-visual techniques are the main appeal of the anime, which hopes to justify a video game adaptation developed by CD: Projekt RED.
Mesha’s dungeon tells the story of down-on-their-luck adventurers in a medieval world. After a series of misadventures and finding themselves on the verge of death in a dungeon, they accidentally meet a dwarf who will save their lives and, above all, show them the wonders of gastronomy.
After Cyberpunk: EdgerunnersNetflix did not want to miss the opportunity and will continue to collaborate with Studio Trigger for the launch Tragons and dungeons exclusively on its platform. The series will be released sometime in 2024 and will be split into two parts with 12 chapters each, so everything points to the series not ending until late next year or right into 2025.
