GTA 6 trailer ‘closer than you think’: It’s the Rubius track that sets X on fire

Grand Theft Auto 6 has been on everyone’s lips for the last few weeks. If Rockstar’s hints aren’t enough, Rubius is now adding fuel to the rumor fire. “GTA 6 trailer is closer than you think,” he noted in a short but powerful tweet. The words are accompanied by Pingu looking at the horizon. Do you know things? What was Rubius up to? Time will tell if he is right… or not.

What’s going on with GTA 6 on social media?

Like we said, users are going absolutely crazy over the strokes that Rockstar shared on social media. It all started on September 29 last year. To celebrate the Lunar Festival in GTA Online, the studio shared an image of two characters appearing in front of the mythical Vinewood sign. You see it too, right? On the left side, only VI is visible, the numbering of the next major installment of the franchise.

A few days later, on October 2nd, there was another tweet dedicated to celebrating Oktoberfest in the same game. Note the hands of the two characters in front. The boy forms a perfect “V” between his beer and his thumb, while a girl next to her holds tightly to an “I” shaped bottle. It may seem like a small thing, but the studio has historically worked with tracks like this.

The next effective date is October 26. Because what? Mainly because it falls on a Tuesday, which is the preferred day of the week for the announcement and release of most of Rockstar’s work. The second is related to October. The last week of the month is another team fetish. GTA 5 was announced on October 25, 2011; GTA San Andreas was released on October 26, 2004; Red Dead Redemption 2 was released on October 26. We will find out very soon.
