Bloomberg Línea – Samsung launched this Tuesday a beta version of its One UI 8.5 program, which will be available on the Galaxy S25 series mobile phones – Galaxy S25, S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra – in select markets, including the US, but not Latin American.
One UI 8.5 will provide users with improved security, connectivity, content creation and storage.

More protection than before
Samsung’s new program brings with it a theft protectionwhich ensures the security of the mobile phone and its users’ data.
“For added protection, Failed Authentication Lock automatically locks the screen if there are too many failed authentication attempts using a fingerprint, PIN, or password,” Samsung says.
Content creation improvements
After updating to photo assistantit will be possible to constantly edit images with Galaxy AI tools, that is, without the need to save each adjustment or retouch, unlike before.
Users will now be able to “easily view all versions of photos in their edit history and select favorites to save,” Samsung says.
Impressively, since Quick Share now recognizes who appears in photos, it will “proactively” suggest sending them directly to those contacts.
Connectivity, more practical than before
Users will be able to easily communicate with nearby LE Audio compatible devices, but also transmit your voice to the speaker, for example using the microphone built into the mobile phone, something perfect for meetings or events.
“New multi-device features make it easier to manage devices, whether users need to manage files, share their network, or communicate with nearby devices,” Samsung says.
Share storage
With One UI 8.5, Samsung users will be able to view files from other devices, including tablets and PCs, from the app on their mobile phones. My files.

This will not be the case in all markets
The One UI 8.5 beta will not be available in all Samsung markets, but only in Germany, India, Korea, Poland, the UK and the US.
