As soon as you update your console, you will see that the launch logo has changed to the mythical colored PS that has accompanied the PSX for years. Once you get to the home page, you will receive a message informing you of the customization items added to the interface. If you go directly to the settings, you will have an option that allows you to change the interface as you see on twitter below these lines.
Since the PSX didn’t have an interface as such, it was replaced with the chassis of the original model, but otherwise emulated by combining the old with the modern. On PS3, the orange warnings that have always been so distinctive are still there.. You can choose any “for a limited time”. It wasn’t specified until when, so some players are calling for the company to permanently retain these customization options, which are so clearly aimed at the audience that grew up with PlayStation consoles.
Is this all for the 30th anniversary of the PlayStation?
PlayStation’s 30th anniversary celebration began with a line of limited-edition products that went on sale last October. They flew off the PS Store website, because it couldn’t be otherwise. We know it will be published as well a demo version of Gran Turismo 7 called “My First GT”, with a nostalgic selection of cars and tracks at no extra cost to all PS5 and PS4 players. Additionally, a huge chunk of the console’s catalog is currently on sale in the PS Store.
What else will happen around December 5? PlayStation still has something to sayso we just have to watch out for what’s coming soon.
